Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to book an appointment? 

Yes, we work on an appointment basis to give you the best possible service. A normal appointment will generally last about an hour. It can be extended by 15 and 30 minutes, provided we have the space and there are no appointments scheduled immediately after yours. We recommend you bring a few key family members or friends who can help you make your decision but large number of guests may sometimes cause distraction and confusion. For a VIP appointment, we close the boutique to the general public, giving you and your guests exclusive access for 2 hours. Do you accept Walk-ins?

Yes, we do accept walk-ins, however clients with appointments will have priority. If we have a stylist and a time slot available, we will be happy to help you. Walk-ins interested in our pre-wedding programs or our accessories collection are always welcome too. 

Can you custom-make dresses?

It depends on each designer. Almost all dresses are designed to be ready-to-wear, therefore there is usually not that much option to deviate too far from the original design. However, we are happy to talk about making additions. Almost every style allows brides to choose from multiple skirt options and colors. With some designers, brides can even buy additional fabrics for their dress separately, for example if you want to add a lace cap for shoulders, add sleeves to the dress, or if you need a cover up for a religious ceremony. Our experienced stylists always make sure to select the right dress size. In some cases, they might recommend a cross size for an additional fee. 

Can I take photos in The Bridal Project Boutique?

Absolutely! The Bridal Project stylists have a designated iPad to take photos of you and your dress. The beautiful journey of your Wedding Preparation starts with shopping for a wedding dress and we believe this should be a memorable experience. 

Do you offer alterations?

At this moment, we don´t offer alterations directly at our boutique, but we work with proven local seamstresses, handpicked on account of their experience and regular positive feedback. We want to be sure your dress will only be handled by experts, and can provide you with a list of excellent vendors you can chose from. 

How long does it take until my wedding dress arrives?

Lead time of our dresses typically takes from five to six months from the date of order to the date of delivery, but almost all designers offer a rush fee service if you need your dress earlier. In general, we recommend shopping for your wedding dress at least seven or eight months prior to your wedding day. If you only have few weeks, it´s likely that there will be fewer options available, but nevertheless we always do our best to accommodate you, just give us a call. Do you offer the entire collection of dresses from the designers you carry at your store?

Unfortunately not, but there are different options. We work very closely with our designers and we agreed with them on the best possible collection for our boutique made up of the most popular dresses and those most suitable for our area. Each bride can choose from a wide variety of styles, colors, and fabrics. If you see a particular dress and we don´t have it in stock, we will order it for a short period of time for a small rush fee and you can have it in-store for your appointment. Do you have Trunk Shows?

Yes, we absolutely love Trunk Shows. It is great opportunity to see everything from the designer collection. Often the designer themselves, or a representative of theirs is available during the trunk to answer your questions personally. All of our brides can benefit from a 10% discount during the show. Sign up for our newsletter to get updated on special events and trunk shows. 

Do you offer international service?

Yes, for all of our international brides who fell in love with our dresses at the first appointment, but who unfortunately can´t come to pick up their dress up personally, we offer fast and secure delivery service. You just need to select the preferred shipping method and handle the customs.
